Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases made on PatternFold.

PatternFold currently offers one-time purchases only. We do not offer subscriptions, recurring billing, or automatically renewing memberships.

1. Digital Product Nature

PatternFold provides personalized digital self-discovery reports based on the information you submit, including personality test results and birth-chart related inputs where applicable.

Because our reports are digital, personalized, and made available shortly after purchase, all purchases are generally final once the paid report has been generated, unlocked, delivered, or accessed.

2. No Subscription or Recurring Billing

Your purchase is a one-time payment.

  • We do not automatically renew your order.
  • We do not charge you again after your purchase.
  • There is no subscription to cancel.

3. When a Refund May Be Available

You may request a refund if one of the following applies:

a. Duplicate Payment

You were charged more than once for the same report or order.

b. Technical Failure

You completed payment, but the paid report could not be generated, unlocked, or delivered due to a technical issue on our side.

c. Non-Delivery

You paid successfully but did not receive access to the paid report, and we are unable to restore access within a reasonable time.

d. Unauthorized or Clearly Erroneous Charge

You believe the payment was unauthorized, fraudulent, or made in clear error.

e. Legal Requirement

A refund is required under applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region.

4. When Refunds Are Generally Not Available

Refunds are generally not available in the following cases:

  • The paid report has already been generated, unlocked, delivered, or accessed.
  • You changed your mind after purchase.
  • You disagree with the interpretation, style, wording, or conclusions of the report.
  • You entered incorrect information, such as the wrong birth date, birth time, location, email address, or personality test answers.
  • You expected the report to provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.
  • You purchased the report but chose not to read it.

5. Input Errors

Please review your information carefully before purchase.

If you entered incorrect birth or profile information, we generally cannot offer a refund after the paid report has been generated.

However, at our discretion, we may offer a one-time correction or regeneration if the request is reasonable and technically possible.

6. Digital Content Consent

By completing your purchase, you agree that PatternFold may begin generating and/or delivering your personalized digital report immediately.

You acknowledge that once the report generation, unlocking, delivery, or access begins, your purchase may become non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at:

Please include:

  • The email address used for the purchase
  • Your order ID or payment receipt, if available
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Any screenshots or details that may help us investigate the issue

8. Refund Review Time

We will review refund requests within a reasonable time.

If your refund is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Depending on your payment provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your account.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a problem with your purchase, please contact us first so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened with your bank or payment provider, we may be unable to process a separate refund while the dispute is pending.

10. Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse refund requests that appear abusive, fraudulent, repeated, or inconsistent with this Refund Policy.

11. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If local law gives you rights that are stronger than this Refund Policy, those rights will apply.
